Journal started in 1947 as a supplement of Industrial Bulletin, up to 1970 as supplement of Technique and from 1970 as an independent publication.Hemijska industrija (Chemical Industry) is publishing papers in the field of chemical engineering, chemical technologies and chemistry by authors from the country and abroad. The journal is published bimonthly by the Association of Chemical Engineers of Serbia (a member of EFCE - European Federation of Chemical Engineering). In addition to professional articles of importance to industry, scientific research papers are published, not only from our country but from all over the world. It also contains topics such as business news, science and technology news, information on new apparatus and equipment, and articles on environmental protection. A special issue of the Journal of Plastic and Rubber is also published.

期刊于1947年作為《工業(yè)公報(bào)》的補(bǔ)充，1970年作為《技術(shù)補(bǔ)充》，1970年作為獨(dú)立出版物出版。化學(xué)工業(yè)是國內(nèi)外作者在化學(xué)工程、化學(xué)技術(shù)和化學(xué)領(lǐng)域發(fā)表的論文。該雜志由塞爾維亞化學(xué)工程師協(xié)會(huì)（歐洲化學(xué)工程聯(lián)合會(huì)成員）每兩個(gè)月出版一期。除了對(duì)工業(yè)有重要意義的專業(yè)文章外，科學(xué)研究論文不僅來自我國，而且來自世界各地。還包括商業(yè)新聞、科技新聞、新儀器設(shè)備信息、環(huán)境保護(hù)文章等主題。還出版了《塑料與橡膠雜志》的?？?/p>
