The Journal of Surgical Oncology published in 12 issues a year offers peer-reviewed original papers in the field of surgical oncology and broadly related surgical sciences including reports on experimental and laboratory studies related to surgical oncology. In addition peer-reviewed columns include Rapid Communications in-depth Reviews on topics of current interest and brief reports about technical innovations ("How I Do It").
